Our Story

“Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. While in college, I fell deeply in love with the endless possibilities of the early childhood education field. At that moment, I knew this was my life-long calling, but little did I know what the future would hold and just how much my passion would grow in the coming years.

Originally, Joey and I thought we’d open a school one day—maybe as a retirement dream once our kids were grown, but we quickly learned that things don’t always go according to plan; something that I would be forever grateful for. When a family member received an unexpected life changing diagnosis, Joey and I knew in our hearts that we needed to create a space that parents felt like they were dropping their child off to family. We wanted nothing more than to create that for other families who we knew were tirelessly searching for the same thing.

So we decided not to wait.

We opened our first school with one simple goal: to create a warm, welcoming space where all kids feel safe, seen, and celebrated—and where families feel like they’re part of something special. We built our community and our schools from the heart of a mom and the mindset of a teacher.

For families whose children need extra support, we knew how overwhelming it can feel. Some parents are faced with tough choices—like stepping away from their careers just to make sure their child gets the services they need. We didn’t think anyone should have to make that kind of decision. That’s why we built an inclusive, supportive and kind space where the services offered encouraged their child to thrive and were integrated right into their daily routine. Therapists and teachers work side-by-side to help each child thrive—and we work closely with families every step of the way.

Since opening our doors in 2019, we’ve grown from North Smithfield to East Greenwich and Jamestown, and now serve over 150 amazing kids—both neurotypical and neurodiverse. But no matter how much we grow, our heart stays the same.”
