Based in Rhode Island with locations in North Smithfield, East Greenwich, and Jamestown, Anchor Point Early Learning Academy is a high-quality early education program with a center-based curriculum. Our low student-to-teacher ratios allow for a more individualized approach, helping each child be successful.
Our mission is to inspire a child’s love of learning and exploring. We do so through a curriculum that fosters their inherent intellectual, physical, artistic, and academic abilities.

“Teaching has always been my calling. In college, early childhood education became more than a passion—it became purpose. But life revealed that purpose sooner than we ever imagined.
Joey and I once pictured opening a school “someday.” Then a loved one’s diagnosis shifted everything. We realized families needed more than care—they needed a place that felt personal, warm, and deeply trustworthy. A space where every child is welcomed with intention and every parent feels at ease. So we didn’t wait. We built it.
Our first school was crafted with a clear vision: a warm, welcoming space where all kids feel safe, seen, and celebrated—and where families feel like they’re part of something special. We built our community and our schools from the heart of a mom and the mindset of a teacher.
For families navigating additional support needs, we created an integrated model where therapists and teachers work as one team, seamlessly weaving services into each child’s day. No parent should have to choose between their career and their child’s wellbeing—and here, they don’t.
Since 2019, our community has grown from North Smithfield to East Greenwich and Jamestown, now supporting more than 150 extraordinary children—neurotypical and neurodiverse. And through every chapter, our mission remains constant: a beautifully designed, heart‑led space where children flourish and families feel at home.”
