Anchor Point Early Learning Academy is seeking a caring, adaptable, and enthusiastic Float Teacher to join our East Greenwich team. This important role provides support throughout our school, helping ensure that every classroom receives the assistance needed to create exceptional learning experiences for children.
Our educators work together to create a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. As a Float Teacher, you'll play a key role in maintaining classroom continuity while supporting teachers, students, and daily school operations.

What we are looking for:

What You'll Do:
- Provide classroom support throughout the school as needed, working with infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten students.
- Assist lead and assistant teachers in implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities.
- Cover teacher lunch breaks, planning time, meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support daily routines, including transitions, meals, playground supervision, and rest periods.
- Foster positive relationships with children and encourage social-emotional growth through compassionate guidance.
- Promote a positive classroom atmosphere that supports learning, exploration, and independence.
- Collaborate with teaching teams to ensure continuity of care and learning throughout the day.
- 18 years or older
- Associates degree preferred
- CPR/ first aid certification within 30 days
