Admissions Process

We value ensuring that our schools are right for your family. That’s why as a part of our admissions process, we require families to tour our schools and meet our administration team prior to submitting an enrollment application.

For families who are not local; welcome! We are happy to schedule a virtual meeting with you to discuss what you are looking for in a school and show you the classrooms.

Step One: Inquiry

We encourage families to learn more about our curriculum and programs. When you’re ready, contact our admissions team to schedule a tour of your preferred school or schedule a virtual meeting (virtual meetings are reserved for families who are not local at the time but moving to our area and searching for care.)

Step Two:
Application for Enrollment

Following your tour or meeting, our administrator will send you the application for enrollment (also known as our waitlist form) through our Brightwheel family platform.

Once both the application for enrollment and the required RI Department of Human Services questionnaire are completed and submitted, you will receive confirmation that your child(ren) have been added to our waitlist.

*Please Note:*

Submitting the application for enrollment (waitlist form) does not guarantee your child(ren) a space in our program(s).

Space and availability are dependent on state mandated ratios and group sizes, in addition to available schedules. When a space becomes available in your desired program/child’s appropriately aged program, administrators will contact families in the order the family applications were received and added to our waitlist.

Step Three:
Classroom Playdate

Once families have submitted their acceptance form and their required deposit (applied to your first week of tuition), your administrator will schedule a playdate for your child. This is a scheduled time for your child to come in and interact with the children in the classroom as well as meet their classroom teachers. This helps support your child and your family on your child’s first day.

What to expect during your playdate

During this visit, you will receive your key fob(s) for door access on your first day, classroom welcome letters and all other important information ahead of your child’s first day. If there is space available on the day of your visit, we encourage families to leave your child for an hour in order to acclimate to the environment without you present. This allows your child time to gain trust in our educators, experience an activity or outdoor exploration before officially joining the fun!

We encourage families to bring:

  • Infants: Two diapers and wipes, a bottle or nurse prior to arrival.
  • Toddlers: Two diapers and wipes or extra change of clothes in case of accidents. Toddlers are also encouraged to bring a water bottle, labeled with their name.
  • Preschool, Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten: A water bottle clearly labeled with your child’s name. (Change of clothes depending on your child–you know them best!)

Welcome Aboard!

We look forward to welcoming your family into ours!
